Neuropsychological Evaluation and Counseling
Neuropsychological Evaluation & Treatment
If you suspect or have actually suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), patients may undergo a comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation to rule-out or explore the nature of the purported injury. The evaluation helps to identify how your brain functions through performance-based tasks. Each cognitive task isolates neuroanatomical underpinnings or systems while objectifying the individuals’ cognitive strengths, weaknesses, and/or deficits that may have been affected from the given injury. We will work an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to help in your recovery. Our goal is to help you attain the highest quality of life possible. Some of the patients/problems that we address include:
- Closed Head Injuries
- Automobile Accidents & Work Place Injuries
- Athletes with Concussions
- Children & Adults with ADHD
- Strokes
- Dementia
- Elderly & Aging Issues
- Complex Medical Problems
- Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders
- Neurodegenerative Disorders such as Alzheimer's, MS, and Parkinson’s disease
